About Kingswood Team Ministry
Kingswood Team Ministry is a parish of three churches serving the Kingswood district of the South Gloucestershire deanery. These three congregations provide a wide variety of worship styles and traditions to suit all ages. Members meet together to praise God in music, song and prayer. They aim to deepen their faith in God through studying the Bible and discussion, and to show their love for God by serving each other and the wider community. Many events go on during the week as well as Sunday to which anyone is invited. Both Holy Trinity Church and the Church of the Ascension have church halls which are available to hire for community activities. Baptisms, weddings and funerals can be arranged by contacting the Parish Office Monday to Friday 9.30am - 12.30pm. Tel 01179673627.

MUSIC AT HOLY TRINITY CHURCH
HOLY TRINITY CHURCH CHOIR leads the singing at our two main services at H.T.K. on Sunday mornings and evenings. They are always very professional and do a fantastic job. It is quite a commitment to sing at both the morning and evening services. Some members for this reason just sing at one of the two services. If you think this is a role you could take on in the church please contact us. .
HOLY TRINITY CHURCH OCCASIONAL CHOIR was formed to fill a need for people who wanted to sing in the church choir but could not commit to being able to sing every Sunday. The Occasional Choir rehearse every 3rd Thursday in Holy Trinity 7pm – 8pm.
The choir normally performs at Advent, Christmas, Holy Week and in the summer concert. If this appeals to you please contact us.
KERYGMA is our music group leading the singing at the monthly Come Together Service at Holy Trinity Church and at other time when more contemporary music is called for. The group at present has six singers, a guitarist and a pianist. A few more instrumentalists would greatly enhance this group. Kerygma rehearses every 3rd Thursday from 8pm – 9pm. If you think you would like to make music with Kerygma please contact us.
SILVENTO RECORDER GROUP - This small, friendly group was started some years ago when two ladies who had not played recorder since leaving school said they could remember how much they had enjoyed it. We put out an advert to see if any other folk would be interested in forming a new recorder group. Some eight years later the group is still flourishing. Silvento has grown to eight playing members. They play mainly early music from the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. If you feel you would like to play with this group please contact us. The group meets on Monday evenings at Holy Trinity Church from 7.30 – 9.00pm.
THE ST GEORGE SINGERS were formed 37 years ago from a group of ex – pupils from St. George School in Redfield. Since it's formation much has changed about the choir. The choir now has over fifty members drawn from across Bristol. One or two things however has not changed. The choir is a Community Choir. No–one has to audition to join. The members meet weekly to have fellowship with each other and to raise money for charity. To date tens of thousands of pounds have been raised over the years for various charities the most recent being Canine Partners(£4000) and the R.N.L.I(£3000). If you would like to join us to try out the society please contact us or, just turn up at Holy Trinity on Tuesday evenings from 7.30 – 9.30pm.
WEDNESDAY WARBLERS are a brand new group that meets in Holy Trinity Church Hall on a Wednesday morning from 11.00 – 11.45am. This is a group for singers of all abilities. The group will sing songs from the shows and popular music old and new. This group may appeal to folk who have a problem with memory. All will receive a warm welcome. If you would like to join just turn up or contact us or the group's leader, Kim Taylor on 077 964 73971 or e-mail email@example.com
